Sorry for the TV Troll!

Stacey and I were surprised to find a post called "Talk Show Opportunity -- Confront Your Abuser" on our website this morning. (Thanks BlueCascade for the alert.) As you may have read, a TV producer was looking for real survivors to come forward and face their abusers on camera. We apologize for letting that intrusive post linger on our site overnight. We promptly took it down.

Healing Sisters is no place for TV producers to troll. What a completely insensitive thing to do! We're insulted, and we will be on the lookout for that kind of spam in the future. We were glad to read that you agree with us. Several commentors were not happy, including a sister named Butterfly who wrote: "It makes me nervous about the motives of those who say they are on here to help people to heal. I dont know what response you were hoping to recieve but I am very uncomfortable with the whole topic and will think really hard about posting anything else here..... Just upsets me."

Well said, Butterfly. We totally agree!

The one you removed was not the only post she made..there are others as well that are still on the site.

just wanted to say "Thank You" for getting rid of that (and all the other - ie spam) trash from the website  :)   its nice to have caring moderators to keep our little sandbox here free of pests !
